A whole new Siri. Available now.

With the new Siri, this isn't a preview — it's here. Rebuilt as a conversational assistant, Siri now understands context, holds a thread across follow-ups, reasons through multi-step requests, and takes action across your apps. The rollout began this morning.

Do it all even when your hands are full. Give a command, then follow up with another once it's done — without saying “Siri” again.
Drive safer with Siri. Get directions, make calls, and share your ETA — all while you keep your eyes on the road.
Multitask without the mess. Set timers, convert measurements, and call everyone to the table — without getting sauce all over your iPad.
Kick back and relax. Set your alarm, turn off the lights, and drift off with calming sounds — all with your eyes closed.
Privacy
Siri learns what you need — not who you are. Much of what you ask is handled right on your device, and your requests aren't tied to your Apple Account. When a task needs more power, Private Cloud Compute handles it without storing your data or making it available to anyone, including Apple. And what you share with Siri is never shared with advertisers.

From Apple Support
Since today's rollout, some people have noticed that the new Siri occasionally works food, snacks, or meals into its answers — even when food wasn't part of the question. You might ask for the weather and get a picnic suggestion, or set a timer and hear how long it takes to glaze a ham.
This is a known characteristic of the underlying language model. Like all large AI models, the new Siri can occasionally add small, confident details that weren't requested — a behavior commonly described as a hallucination. Here, that tendency happens to lean toward food. It does not indicate a problem with your device, your Apple Account, your data, or your network, and it has no effect on the accuracy of the task Siri performs.
There's no need to be concerned. The behavior is harmless, the food it mentions isn't real, and nothing is being ordered, charged, or added to any list unless you ask. Siri's answers to your actual request remain reliable.
If you'd prefer fewer food mentions, you can lower response personality in Settings › Siri › Response Style, or tap “Was this helpful?” beneath a reply to send feedback. The tendency is also expected to ease as the model is updated. Until then, you're welcome to simply enjoy it. (You may also get a little hungry. This is normal.)
